I didn’t realize until I started answering questions on Attack of the Show just how great a need there was for some clarity on issues related to sex, dating and relationships. From the first episode that contained the “In Your Pants” segment, I began receiving hundreds of emails from viewers who had questions of their own and either no ability or desire to get their answers on the show. At times, it’s broken my heart to have to send a form letter that’s essentially explained how much I wished I could answer each individual question I’m sent but how if I did that, I wouldn’t have time to do anything else – including shoot Attack of the Show. That’s why I’m especially excited to launch this site which provides a database of questions you may have seen or heard me answer on TV or via a podcast but have never before been at your fingertips and searchable by topic (popular tags include porn, orgasm, honesty, cheating, STDs and masturbation, which probably shouldn’t surprise anyone).

What I always hope to bring to this topic is an attitude of acceptance and comfort. My deepest desire is that all of you can come to understand that having questions about anything in this arena of your life shouldn’t be a cause for embarrassment or shame. We’re a part of a culture that is, in some ways, brazen in our sexuality while simultaneously wholly repressed, and that is a recipe for confusion and contradiction. I do not pretend to have all the answers, and am the first one to speak up when I believe your question to be beyond my capabilities. Oh, and also, when I was little, my favorite color was royal blue – which has nothing to do with anything but I felt the sudden urge to share it.

Anna’s career as an advisor on sex, relationships and dating began when she started writing stories for Playboy. She was Razor magazine’s sex columnist until the publication’s final issue. She’s been the sex and relationship expert on G4’s Attack of the Show! for the past several years. A professional member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), Anna has an Associate in Sex Education Certificate from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality and has answered dating questions and appeared on relationship segments on The Today Show and Fox News, among other shows and networks.

Anna appears regularly on Hannity, Red Eye, The Today Show, CNN’s Showbiz Tonight, MTV News, VH1 and E! Her sex and dating stories have run in The New York Times, The L.A. Times, Maxim, Details, Cosmo and Movieline, and the Sirius radio program she co-hosted, Sex Files, was Maxim network’s number-one specialty show.

Her first novel, Party Girl, was released in 2007; her second, Bought, in 2009, and Reality Matters, the anthology she conceived of and edited on reality shows, is coming out in March, 2009. She’s also been published in Premiere, People, Us Weekly, Vanity Fair, Cosmo, Redbook, Self, Stuff, TV Guide, Women’s Health, Ocean Drive, Vegas, Esquire UK, Teen Vogue, Variety, LA Confidential, Tatler and Emmy, among others.
